Chess without Pawns
(old version Chaturanga?)

Game for two:
Uses a standard 64-cell board. Each player in 6 figures and 2 King, one white, the other black. Starting position:
White - Ra1, Nb1, Bc1, Kd1, Ke1, Bf1, Ng1, Rh1.
Black - Ra8, Nb8, Bc8, Kd8, Ke8, Bf8, Ng8, Rh8.
Start the game is always white, the moves made by turns, players not allowed to skip moves.

Moving figures:
Rook runs horizontally or vertically on any number of fields, if the path is clear.
Knight jump in different directions, if the fields are free.
Elephant runs diagonally across any number of fields, if the path is clear.
None of the figures involved in the game can not be beat (remove from the board) any other shape.
These figures are striking force exercise in the fight with the kings of the enemy:
1) When the attack on the kings, threatening to destroy their next move;
2) restricts the mobility of the kings, when the shelling of the field around them;
3) Do not give the king a chance to beat when they can protect other parts.

Moves of the King:
The King goes in all directions, but each time only one field.
1) You can not put the king under attack from the enemy;
2) If upon the occurrence of an enemy king comes under attack from foreign leaders, he must immediately get rid of (either alone or with parts);
3) The King can beat (remove from the board, rising in his place) somebody else's figure, if it is not protected by another enemy piece;
4) The King can not be placed next to the enemy king (kings did not converge);
5) All the Kings on the board initially able to do an exchange move.

Castling:
A special course, which the king and rook are doing together, it can be observed at each of the three following conditions:
1) King of the Castle from the very beginning of the game has not moved;
2) All the fields between the king and rook are free;
3) The king should not be under attack, and the field, through which he will have to step over when the castling, not to be under attack enemy;
Performing castling in one step: rook moves up to the king, and he steps over her.
Choice players castling is possible as close to the king with a rook and a distant (both short and long).

The winner is the player who reached any of the three goals:
1) Checkmate the opponent's king (as well as in chess)
2) Announced Shahi, from which there is no security; rescue of two kings of the enemy can not (the game ends, destroy kings is not required)
3) Acting King removed from the board the figure of an enemy that was not protected (the condition: none of the kings of the player should not depend upon the enemy figures)
or make a move, which both achieved several goals.
If both opponents three times repeated their moves, then draw.

Rules "Chess without Pawns" in the Zillions

2) Any shape can declare check king
3) To beat someone else's figures can only kings (!!!)
4) All the Kings have the right to exchange move (!)

You can win only one way:
Put one or two kings of the enemy - to declare such a check, from which there is no protection (checkmated).
